New laws across the U.S. are looking to overturn Roe v. Wade, the landmark Supreme Court case on abortion rights. Case in point, Texas has just passed legislation to limit a woman’s right to have an abortion after six weeks.


Michael Tamsuriyamit reports on what students think about these new restrictions, in this edition of Hunter Students Speak.



The U.S. Department of Justice has filed a lawsuit against the Texas law, promising to protect and fight for a woman’s right to choose.
